Our production will focus on three constructs that shape our understanding of the characters and of their words and actions.
1. This is true love, and not a youthful infatuation
2. There is great power in the excitement of the forbidden. Romeo & Juliet's love is not a result of the feud between their families.
3. The tragedy is brought on by absentee and irresponsible adults.
